What came first...
Did you know that hens like to lay eggs in the dark? Or that they like to sleep on perches at night? The things I learned about laying hens seemed endless as I toured the Midwest United States and Canada for the past year, visiting chicken farms of all shapes and sizes. You may think that it’s just a bird, give it a house, some water and food and everything will be fine but laying hens have some very particular needs that I never knew about and was fascinated to learn.
The Family Tea Made in the D
I love tea. I drink tea. I make tea – for a living.
My tea is Ellis Island Tropical Tea, a rich red iced hibiscus tea with an exotic flavor that comes from the careful blending and infusion of all-natural extracts and botanicals. It is smooth and flavorful with a kick of citrus. You can drink it cold directly from the glass bottle or warm inside your favorite cup. It comes in a sweetened or unsweetened. Whichever way you prefer it, it tastes wonderful.
